Derby Retail Point of Sale Photoshoot

The Retail team at Angel’s Envy needed social media content to promote their line of Derby related merchandise (merchandise which I also helped to create). This merchandise included glassware, bar tools, a charcuterie board, bowties, and socks. My role in this shoot was to concept, art direct, prop, contact modeling agencies and choose models.

Henderson Family

The Henderson family is often called “the Founding Family” at Angel’s Envy. Back in 2011, Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes founded Angel’s Envy. Since then, Wes’ sons have become involved in the company in various roles. The goal of this photoshoot was to photograph the Founding Family together in the Angel’s Envy distillery and to help promote their Cellar Collection release Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Tawny Port Barrels.

Bottle Silhouette Photography

Bottle silhouette photography is a huge asset in Angel’s Envy’s arsenal of creative assets. The bottle silhouette photography being utilized at the time was outdated and needed a fresh spin. In 2020, I photographed each of their core bottles – Angel’s Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels, Angel’s Envy Rye Whiskey Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks, and Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels. The bottles were shot in a “hero” perspective to create striking bottle imagery that communicated strength and visual interest. Angel’s Envy still uses these bottle silhouettes to this day for their marketing materials.

Holiday 2021

According to market research, Angel’s Envy is a highly gifted bourbon. For that reason, Holiday is a huge campaign for Angel’s Envy. My role for this Holiday shoot was to prop shop and provide art direction.

Father’s Day 2022

Much like the Holiday season, Father’s Day is another very “giftable” holiday for Angel’s Envy. For this Father’s Day shoot I provided art direction on the day of the shoot as well as art direction and approvals during post.
