E-Commerce Photography Guidelines
After the roll out of Angel’s Envy’s updated brand visual guidelines, the Retail team was in need of new product photography and guidelines. I was brought in to create the new guidelines and art direct the first shoot to ensure the new photography matched the updated brand visual guidelines.
The e-commerce website had also been recently updated to match Angel’s Envy’s new BVI and it heavily used a deep ruby color found in the brand palette. For that reason, I decided to utilize a clean white scene with pops of color from ruby and vermillion painted photo blocks. I also wanted to incorporate hard shadows while maintaining the details of the product.
